Player Bio

I started my hockey journey as a freshman in college at UW when I learned to skate with the UW Women's Club Ice Hockey Team. It turned out that joining the hockey team would end up being one of the most important decisions of my life as it was through the team that I met my (now) husband, Tyler. I played with the UW Club through college and medical school, then took a break to complete my residency in pediatric neurology in Denver, CO. After having two children and finishing residency, we moved back to Madison in 2012. Hockey continues to be an important part of our family with our boys playing, my husband coaching, and , my husband coaching and playing (also for MGHA), and myself spending lots of time driving to and from the hockey rink, cheering on my boys and continuing to play for fun.
