Player Bio

After getting my first job at my schools ice rink at 14, I found a pair of skates in the lost and found and got out there as much as I could. I played some organized games in High School, but nothing major. After High School I enlisted in the Marine Corps and deployed to Afghanistan. I was medically separated after injuries sustained in combat and came back home to Wisconsin where I met my now spouse. After a part time Zamboni job fell in my lap, I fell in love with the game all over again and had the itch to get back out there. I was drawn to the MGHA after I came to watch a friend play and saw that no matter win or lose, everyone seemed to be having a great time, and that's what I want out of the game. In my professional life, I work for the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs and I help Unhoused and At-Risk Veterans obtain resources. In my personal life, I live with my Spouse in Marshall with our 3 dogs. We play in summer volleyball leagues, play trivia when time allows, and you can usually catch us at any Pat McCurdy show in the Madison area.
