Player Bio

Howdy!

My name is Cole, and this is my first full year playing in the MGHA (I played in the Tournament last year and enjoyed it). I've been a goalie for roughly 7-8 years and learned by sneaking into UW's Open Hockey underage and playing against ACHA Division II/III, Juniors, High School Varsity, some NCAA Division II/III, at least one USHL player, and recently an NCAA Div 1 player who attended an NHL development camp. I've tried out for UW's ACHA program and played for the Wisconsin Timberwolves Disabled Hockey Program. I've also played UW Intramural hockey for four and a half years, mainly with the UW Marching Band Team. Outside of goaltending, I grew up as a defenseman, but I only played competitive hockey for two and a half years. I grew up a pond hockey kid and loved it. I love hockey and argue that it's the best sport for someone with ADHD cause, like a dog, the only thought going through my brain while playing/watching hockey is "PUCK PUCK PUCK PUCK."

When not playing hockey, I am a graduate student at UW's Library and Information School, focusing on Archival Sciences, and I am a published historian (my bachelor's is an honors degree in history with a minor in classical history). I love video games, books, biking, supporting disability rights, chilling with friends, working out, grand adventures (wandering around town), and listening to/very poorly playing music.

Happy to meet ya, and let's do that hockey!
