The Madison Gay Hockey Association (MGHA) is Madison's first official gay hockey organization. We provide an environment free of harassment and discrimination for members and friends of the LGBT community to play ice hockey and fulfill their athletic aspirations. All members must follow our Code of Conduct.

The MGHA meets weekly on Sunday nights from October through February at the Madison Ice Arena. More experienced players double as coaches to help develop the skills of the players new to ice skating and hockey. Off the ice MGHA members also attend UW Badger Men and Women's Hockey games, travel to Chicago and the Twin Cities to interact with the gay hockey associations locally, and take an active part in Pride.

 
Tournaments
MGHA players have the opportunity to compete in international LGBT tournaments in New York, Boston, Denver, Los Angeles, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, and Washington.
