The Championship Games are coming up quick, and with the end of the season, there's a lot going on!

Mad Camp Bingo: Sunday 1:00 PM
The MGHA has been invited as their group of the month, so come out to support the AIDS Network and win fabulous prizes at Camp Bingo. For more info, http://www.madcampbingo.org/

Everyone 18 years or older is welcome, but alcohol is served at this event. Just remember there are games that night and nobody wants an impaired person flying around the ice with blades strapped to their feet, so use good judgement. Any skater determined to be impaired will be benched by his or her coach/captain.

Blades Against AIDS this Saturday
This weekend is the MGHA's second annual Blades Against AIDS fundraiser for the AIDS Network. Join your teammates, bring your family and friends, and come out to Madison Ice Arena on Saturday, March 1 from 8:00 PM until 10:00 PM. http://www.madisongayhockey.org/invites/baa2008

Championship Games
The 2007-2008 Championship Games for the MGHA will be held Sunday, March 2, 2008 starting at 6:30 PM. Highlights include a performance by the UW-Madison Synchronized Skating Team of their 2008 Program entitled "Wonder Woman", as well as the announcement of the 2007-2008 MGHA Essay Contest Winner.

Stay the whole evening and cheer for the other games so you can be on the ice for the awards ceremony and league picture.

Board Updates
The MGHA would like to thank Jill Nebeker for her time and excellent service as Communications Director on the MGHA board this season. She has stepped down, but continues to participate as a volunteer and player. We're pleased to welcome Mary Alice McGreevy and Mike Meholic to the MGHA board and we're looking forward to working with them as we end the season and start planning our summer activities and next season.
