On Saturday, March 1, the MGHA will hold the second annual Blades Against AIDS. This fundraiser for AIDS Network is done MGHA-style: on skates! It will be an evening of open skating, music, and food.

We need many volunteers to make this happen. Below are the jobs and their time slots.

Please email your top three choices to Shawn Waldron at swaldron2@gmail.com. If you don't have a preference, indicate that, and if you're willing to sign up for more than one job, also indicate that.

Assignments will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. We'll let you know of the schedule by February 23.

Ticket Sales/Skate Rentals
What you'll do: Sell tickets, take money, help MIA staff with skate rentals/sizing

7:30pm to 8:30pm - 4 people
8:30pm to 9:30pm - 4 people
9:30pm to 10:15pm - 2 people

Skate Guards
What you'll do: Skate, look pretty, keep everything in check

7:45pm to 8:30pm - 2 people
8:30pm to 9:15pm - 2 people
9:15pm to 10:00pm - 2 people

Set-up/Clean-Up/Food Help
What you'll do: Set up tables/chairs, clean up front lobby, help Queen Anne's with food

7:30pm to 8:30pm - 3 people
8:30pm to 9:30pm - 3 people
9:30pm to 10:30pm - 3 people

Skate Collection
What you'll do: Pick up rental skates from Hartmeyer Ice Arena; return skates to Hartmeyer

6:30pm - 1-2 people
10:30pm - 1-2 people
