What Does Gay Hockey Mean to You?

All season long we have been working to create a supportive and healthy environment for our community and our league. Now we need your help. If you are looking for a way to give back even a little of what you feel you've gotten from the MGHA, this is where we need you to give the most.

We are all unique people with diverse stories and dreams. Sharing your story helps us all understand a little better who we are collectively. The courage you'll find to tell it helps empower others to live more openly, too.

So, what does gay hockey mean to you?

Please take some time to think about this question. Then, spend some time writing it down. We are asking you to write about the role that the Madison Gay Hockey Association has played in developing you as a person, and what it has taught you about yourself and our community.

  • One essay will be selected to have both their 2010-2011 league fees and tournament registration for the "MGHA Classic" tournament scheduled for April 30 - May 2, 2010, paid for by the MGHA.
  • A second essay will receive a free tournament registration for the "MGHA Classic" tournament scheduled for April 30 - May 2, 2010.
